Mercy Full Project
This quarter, $2 from every Salty Dog candle goes straight to Mercy Full Project. Mercy Full rescues animals from all different situations such as: medical cases at shelters that face euthanasia, behavioral cases that need longer and special training sessions, owner surrenders that come to them for a variety of reasons, stray animals found all over Florida, animals facing euthanasia at overloaded shelters (even from shelters outside of Florida such as Georgia and Alabama), and emergency cases where the animals are injured from accidents or abused. Meet Katie
Katie moved to Florida ten years ago and fell for Tampa Bay's waterfronts, its neighborhoods, and its sense of community. Then she adopted a cat named Sasha, started fostering dogs, and saw how hard local rescues work with so little.
The Salty Dog Candle Company is her way of giving them something that lasts. Every candle is poured by her, in small batches, and named after a place or inspired by Tampa Bay.
